If you're visiting this site, it can only mean that someone cared enough about you to refer you here. Oh, sure, many people may say they care about you, but very few honestly care about you beyond the interactions you have with them day-to-day; and even fewer will care enough about you to challenge you about where you're going after this life. In fact, many people can be the best of friends or the closest of family members, yet will never once bring up, discuss, or express concern over your destiny once this life is over.
Why is that? Is the friendship not all that strong to initiate such questions? Are the family ties so shaky that such a conversation would burn bridges forever? Or is it that, because no one can really know for sure, why even "stir the pot" and get people "riled up" over something so uncertain? Yet, when asked, nearly everyone has an opinion on the matter, nearly everyone believes ("has faith") in something about the afterlife (or non-existence, for that matter).
While you're right in the mix of living in the here-and-now, it definitely doesn't seem important to be thinking of death or what exists past this life here. However, 150,000 people die every day, and though the odds are likely that you won't be in this statistic for years to come, it's a gamble nearly every person takes, and most people win it -- for now. But wouldn't you like to know for sure?
What if you're wrong in what you believe? (I know, I know: what if I'm wrong, too?) Well, let's ponder these questions as you stroll through the website. (I mean, if I'm wrong, not much may change or happen to anyone; however, if you're wrong, the end could be literally, catastrophically horrible -- forever.) Exaggeration? Is it a chance we should take if there's so much in this life that points to an afterlife?
You are invited to stick around here for a few minutes and do some exploring. Open up your mind, and take in what can at least be seen as "just another guy's opinion." The purpose of this website is to challenge you to wrestle with some serious matters that may seem so far away in the future. Statistics say you've got till your mid 70's before you'll die; so you most likely feel no urgency and may even now be questioning whether to continue to waste your time on this site any longer. I mean, really: who alive can even know for sure if there's anything past this life anyway?! Who knows if any one particular belief about the afterlife is any more true than another one? Good questions. Natural questions. Questions that are answered here.
Check it all out, and decide for yourself. There's not much to lose, and a ton to gain!
